The short version. The Keyvo app talks to your device over Bluetooth and nothing else. It has no account, no login and no server of ours in the path. Your device names, pairing bonds and proximity settings stay on your phone and on the Keyvo hardware. We do not collect them, and we could not read them if we wanted to.

Keyvo is a product of Alpha21, LLC. Where this policy says “we” it means Alpha21, LLC. You can reach us at info@alpha21.io about anything on this page.
What the app stores
The Keyvo mobile app keeps the following on your phone, in the app's own storage:
- The Bluetooth addresses of Keyvo devices you have added.
- The names you have given those devices.
- Bluetooth pairing keys, held by the operating system's Bluetooth stack.
Settings such as switch mode, proximity threshold and entry and exit delays are stored on the Keyvo device itself, not by us. Deleting the app removes what the app kept; a factory reset on the device clears what the device kept.
What the app sends us
Nothing. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash reporter, and it makes no network requests to servers we operate. It does not need internet access to do its job.
Permissions, and why
- Bluetooth — to find, connect to, bond with and control your Keyvo devices. This is the entire purpose of the app.
- Location — on Android, scanning for Bluetooth devices requires a location permission at the operating-system level. The app does not read, use or store your location. Proximity mode is based on Bluetooth signal strength, not on GPS.
- File access — only when you choose a firmware file to send to a device during an update. The app reads the file you picked and nothing else.
This website
keyvo.app is a static site served by Cloudflare. It sets no cookies and runs no
analytics or tracking scripts. Cloudflare processes the request logs needed to serve
and protect the site, as any web host does. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which
means your browser makes a request to fonts.gstatic.com and Google sees
that request.
If you email us
When you write to us about early access, support or anything else, we keep your message and your email address so we can answer you and follow up. We use them for that and not for anything else, we do not sell them, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for. Ask us to delete your message and we will.
Children
Keyvo is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete the personal information a company holds about you. In our case that is limited to correspondence you have sent us. Write to info@alpha21.io and we will handle it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is material and we have your email address because you are an early-access rider, we will tell you directly.
